New Relationship Mantra: Be Breezy

Daily_philoSophies_2007_5_22.jpgThe best advice I’ve heard in a while, applicable for new relationships when playing it cool and collected gets you much farther than spilling your beans on how much you might feel you like the guy… Think light and airy, mysterious and classy and you’ll come out ahead every time.

In other words: Be Breezy.

For those of us who need more concrete examples to back up this adage, consider basic economics: the law of supply and demand. It might sound too simple to work, but we see it in real life every day.

We tend to pay a premium for that which is in small or limited supply. It’s perceived as more valuable than all that generic stuff that’s cheap and easy to come by.  We want what we think we can’t have….

So in being breezy, you’re not only showing your crush that you’re not just waiting around for him to call; you’re acting with confidence in your high value and total appeal. And confidence, darling, is so in right now ;-)
