Homemade Iced Mocha
Sometimes there is no need to run down the street for a cold cup of coffee on a hot summer day – the ingredients to make a delicious, sweet iced mocha may be in your very own kitchen.
Or better yet, if you are trying to save money on buying food while going out, the next time you hit up the grocery store pick up a few of the following items so you can make your own iced mocha drink.
1. Pour ground coffee (brand of your choice) into the coffee maker: 4 tbsp. (makes 2 glasses)
2. Pour desired cups of water
3. Turn on the coffee maker
Wait a few minutes. As the coffee is being made, pull the desired amount of glasses off the shelf to do the following per glass:
4. Pour ½ cup of Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel Creamer (I used the International Delight brand) or Creamy Chocolate Creamer (Coffee-Mate)
5. Mix in ¼ cup of milk or soy milk
6. 1 ½ tbsp of sugar
7. 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup
8. Throw in 6 ice cubes (or more after your drink is prepared if you want your drink to be really cold)
By the time you have finished adding numbers 4-8 to each glass, the coffee should have cooled down some in the coffee pot. Next, pour the fresh made coffee into the glass with numbers 4-8. You should be ready to go. To treat yourself a little extra, add some whipped cream, chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles.
Fame!
