 You see Darlings here is the thing, your Itty Bitty City Girl was trying to be a good one this morning and got up early, did her morning stretches and sit-ups and sashayed sweetly to the shower in order to do her morning prepping, pampering and primping. But alas, dear ones as Itty pulled backed the shower curtain she realized that she was not alone. Someone else had already decided he was going to take a shower first this morning.

Well, mon petites after mois initial shock had passed, Itty did notice that with his sweet brown eyes gazing so innocently at Itty, he was rather adorable. But that is beside the point. No dear ones, Itty did not bring home some wonderful stranger last night after a night of cocktailing. Rather quite the opposite, dear ones. Itty Bitty City Girl turned in rather early last night was up bright and early only to be greeted by aforesaid visitor.

Yes, darlings right there at the bottom of Itty’s Pretty Girleen Bathroom, was the tiniest and most adorable little mouse.

“Zut Alores!!” screamed your Itty Bitty one. 

Creatures in the tub this early are not exactly mois’ idea of a good morning.

What does one do in such a situation? Run the water? Death by drowning is much too gauche. Shove a trap in the tub and hope for the best? Oh, how gruesome. Go without a shower? Oh, please dears, don’t be so morbid.

Itty did what she always does when this happens.

Itty called a Boyfriend from the past who has somehow over the years morphed into a FriendBoy. 

Darlings, you know whom Itty means when she refers to Friendboys. They are those boys of the past that somehow just never seemed to be anything more than a friend. Moi asks herself sometimes, “Did Friendboy and Itty truly ever date?”

These Boys make much better Friendboys than Boyfriends.

Moi is sure that vous have a few of those in vous past. If not vous must find one.

Friendboy is the one who saves Itty a bike each week in spin class because it can get rather hairy when fighting with the skinny exercise girls over one too few bikes.

Friendboy seems to always call Itty just when she needs to talk or just when she needs someone to say, “Haven’t heard from you in a while are vou ok?”

Friendboy is also the one person in Itty’s life that doesn’t take Itty’s drama that seriously. Friendboy is the one who says to Itty without fail… “Get over it, Itty.”

So, there Itty stood this morning, in her pink jammies and baby blue fuzzy slippers waiting for Friendboy at her front door to come and rescue her and her little hairy visitor.

Within one small second Friendboy had rescued aforesaid mouse with jar and a stiff piece of paper and had baby mouse out in the yard on his way home to his mouse mother and father.

With a pat on Itty’s head and a kiss on the cheek Friendboy was gone, wishing Itty a good day and thanking her for the laugh.

Dear Ones if Itty has one bit of advice for vous in this world of ever changing feelings, different emotions and the constant happenstance of little creatures that appear in the bathtub just when vous thought vous were grown up and ready to face the world alone, be sure to keep dear friends near and thank the ones that are there for vous and take care of vous no matter how early vous call comes in the morning.
