Better than Mom’s: NYC’s Bakery Ships the Comforts of Home
Just about this time of year, when the Fall temps drop and classes are in full swing, sometimes something as simple as curling up with a cup of hot chocolate and big, fluffy marshmallows or homemade chocolate chip cookies makes all the stress of looming exams and papers melt away- even if for a moment.
One New York bakery caught our attention as making and delivering they are busy perfecting brownies, cookies and what might just be the perfect giant marshmallows, that are sure to satisfy any comfort food craving.
Moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, Baked’s chocolate chip cookies are a new ChickSpeak favorite, and might even be better than Mom’s Tollhouse version. (There- we said it. Sorry, Ma!)
The goodies can be ordered on-line or by phone and arrive wrapped and in their signature brown gift box with white ribbon. Perfect for those of us without workable kitchens or time to in the kitchen baking. With items like Chocolate Cloud Cookies, Pistachio Cherry Biscotti and Peppermint Brownies… there’s sure to be something for everyone.
