“Every BODY is Beautiful” Raises Awareness and Funds Online
With the holiday season upon us, why not get in the holiday spirit by
getting your shopping done early and participating in a charitable
event?
The National Eating Disorders Association is currently
hosting “Every BODY Is Beautiful,” an on-line fund-raising auction event
running from November 1 through December 2.
Country music star Sara
Evans is serving as this year’s host and NEDA’s Ambassador.
Jewelry designer Karin Collins is also participating in this year’s
auction, having donated three SpoonFed Art spoon pendants (made from
real spoons) to the cause. Karin started her spoon collections during
art therapy to overcome her own struggle with an eating disorder.
Last year, her NEDA commissioned necklace sold for $370, so ladies,
start bidding!
Other contributions include clothing, tote bags and spa packages. You
can also bid to win a one week trip to Tokyo, a weekend in Malibu, and
tickets to the Regis & Kelly show in New York.
