Do Good, Look Good: Interwoven Threads
Socially conscious and environmentally friendly gifts are super-hot this season, so why not give a gift that is hip, affordable and keeps giving this year? We recently heard about a cool concept company out of Kansas that sells graphic tees and then has a system to also clothe others in need.
Simply put, Interwoven Threads connects those with style and those in need by designing and distributing clothing that looks good and does better.
Interwoven Threads is a positive alternative to the way people traditionally buy products. Currently, Interwoven Threads is working to put quality shirts on the backs of people who truly need to be clothed. You buy a shirt and they donate a shirt on your behalf. One for one. They partner with reStart, a Kansas City-based homeless-advocacy organization that will provide its emergency shelter, youth program, extended stay, and overnight shelter clients with Interwoven Threads.
A throw back to the real meaning of the holidays? We think so and wanna give this team major props.
