Darlings!!  Are vous as cold as Itty is?

Itty Bitty City Girl is writing to vous from a very cold place! Moi wishes that she was one of vous lucky girls out there who chose to go to school in a warmer place that the north east.

Here in this Itty Bitty City where Itty resides we are getting pummeled with snow. And even though Itty had the worst hair day she’s had in awhile she wants to share with vous her most recent discovery. 

In Moi’s every day effort to always turn lemons into lemonade she greeted todays’ awful snow day with a bit of nostalgia.There was nothing that Itty loved more when she was a little girl than waking up to the sound of the tv, radio or Moi’s Mommy proclaiming that there was a Snow Day and that school was canceled.

Even though today Itty battled though enough traffic to tear one’s nerves to bits, and arrived at work a mere two hours late, and sit at her desk and toiled away for a few hours, she decided for all of those involved that the only way to salvage a day like today was to declare it a Snow Day. That is right, by noon Itty had dismissed her entire office and headed directly for the gym.

What is better than a spur of the moment work out that allowed Itty to catch up on her Dr. Phil and Oprah during her cardio? Pure joy, darlings.

From there Itty headed home and prior to dinner was already in her pjs. There is something to be said for flannel before nightfall. Although it is true fashion faux pas, once or twice a year there is a time and a place for a girleen to recline in pure comfort. Within moments Itty had the kettle on and a stack of mags on her lap and was ready to go.

Darlings, this is the time of the year when life can get quite hectic. Exams, formals, holiday shopping and everyday drama can do a number on the girleen just trying to keep it all together. Moi is behooving vous to, despite any weather reports, promise moi and vous that vous will declare one day between now and the New Year, a Snow Day. Do whatever vous need to do to feel recharged, warm and relaxed.

Vous are working too hard and the to do list has gotten too long. Get the pjs on , cuddle up and hit the snooze button. As long as all emergencies are tended to, Itty is giving you permission to take a day for vous.

Love you Moi’s Darlings! Am counting on vous to add the most important person to the holiday gift list- Vous!! One for Moi purchase are a must this time of the year!
