Put SUBMISSIONS in the subject heading of your email.
Articles should be:
- Between 250 to 1,200 words saved in a Microsoft Word Document and attached to the e-mail
- Include a photo that’s saved as a jpeg and no larger than 300 pixels. We do not consider articles without photos

Be patient. We read EVERY submission. You may not see your article live on our site for a week or a month. We might be saving it for an upcoming special thematic issue, such as a Fashion Issue, Relationship Issue, etc. Of course we haven’t forgotten you. Try to hang in there.
Once you have TEN published stories on ChickSpeak, we will offer you a position as a contributing writer at ChickSpeak. As a contributing writer, you will be placed on our Masthead and have opportunities to work directly with our Editorial Team on upcoming featured stories and interviews for our website and newsletter. ChickSpeak looks forward to hearing from you. Our goal is to be the ultimate resource for college women around the world.
